We have only been living in our home for one year, and Litton Loan Servicing, LLP has completely destroyed our credit and bank accounts, and basically stolen money from us.
They reported their name under the parent companies' name when we first signed on the mortgage. Our Mortgage Broker was very unhappy when he found out what company it really was because Litton had given him nothing but trouble every time someone used them.
Then, we never received any paperwork or statements the first month we were to pay until the month was almost over and they wanted us late payment fees on top of our payment. We faught over that, finally got it removed and they still made us pay for an check by phone.
Then, they debited my bank account for 3 months worth of payments - un authorized. (that's a lot of money). We called the bank to try and stop them, but they went through and bounced our checking account.
THEN Litton told us we didn't pay those three months, even though they took our money and we had to close the bank account and pay the bank $200! So for months and months and months we fought over what was paid, and we kept making payments for the months we owed... Litton then began returning our checks, pushing us into foreclosure, sicking lawyers and realtors on us... All for two months of payments that they already HAD!
The entire time their research department had our bank statements, they kept charging us late fee upon late fee, reported us badly on our credit report so now I have very bad credit, I wasted weeks and weeks of time at work (im in sales and dont make money if im not working on my customers), had to pay the bank to get statements and copies of checks... And then when it FINALLY seemed like we were getting somewhere, they sold our loans to two different loan companies!
We are still out over $3000.00 and ended up paying more late fees to the new companies, because Litton transferred our loan over stating that we only paid one months worth and we are actually current on everything!
