Checked my paypal account transaction history and seen 2 charges of 88.55 on 12/24/07 by a company name Betamax Gmbh & Company Kg. Never heard of them! Did a search and discovered what we all have. Germany based company with no foundation going around collecting credit card information ILLEGALY and charging them to their hearts desire. I called my bank and cancelled my debit card. File a claim with paypal and called them to dispute this charge.
I believe their familiar with this scam because they didn't give resistance what so ever. The charge was charged today, but was not taken out of my account yet. Cancelled my credit card and filed 2 claims with paypal about these crooks. If transaction still go through some how will file a claim with my bank and have the charges taken off my card.
I can't believe so many people have complained about them and their still in business. This is outrageous. Whoever runs this outfit should be turned into a penata and we should all get a stick. Think I spelled penata wrong. Happy Holidays, and hope no one else gets scammed this coming year.
