This company has been contacting me for about 6 months now. The first letter said that I had won over $50 000 AUD.
Being gullable, I sent them the money to secure my winnings.
About a month later, they sent me another letter asking for more money. I ignored this letter for two reasons...
1. I thought it was starting to sound sus
2. I thought they might not have recieved my money.
Two months later, I was checking my bank account and found that they had cashed the money from my credit card.
I still recieved now cheque for the funds that I had suposedly "WON".
I have now recieved a final notice asking for more money and the amount of my "winnings" have significantly decreased.
These people have to be stopped and face the huge consequences, they are playing with peoples, livlyhood, hopes and naive-ness. This is fraud and is illegal.
