Sent check for 1999.00 and as me to call to confirm then cash would then receive 59,000.00 in winnings

Called and spoke to individual, very poor english, would not give specifics, like an email address, physical address, wanted me to cash check then wait to receive winnings. Very suspicous and worrisome. The address he used of mine was 7 years old and the mail found me. Said money would be delivered UPS.
