I applied online with North Rock Lending in September and was notified by a loan officer named Victoria Roth and was told that I was approved for my loan. I informed her that I wanted my attorney to review all docs before I did anything. She assured me that once I paid my upfront fee that the funds would be wired into my account. I sent in the upfront fee on October 5 and the next day I get a phone call from a gentleman named John McGusiness who introduced himself as the customer service supervisor and he told me that I had to pay an insurance payment and that it was 1300.00. I agreed to pay it and he said the funds would be in my account the following day. Within a week I had sent in the money and was told again that I had to send in another 1300.00 before the payment would be sent in to me and I did send in the money. I never received the funds and when I tried to call them they disconnected the phones within 2 hours after they received my money.
