Fidelity Lending Group
They look legitimate which makes them all the more dangerous as they steal your money

After doing an application on line with supposedly a brokerage house to find a compatible loan. I was given 4 names. Three are well know legitimate companies and then Fidelity Lending Group. When contacted, the three companies said that they did not use brokerage firms. Mr. Fleming from the Fidelity Group was very professional sounding yet friendly. Answered questions and concerns easily, faxed a contract and said to take it to an attorney before signing. Then he mentioned that a down payment would need to be made so that the lender could purchase an insurance policy to pay the loan in case we defaulted. He said that the contract protected us and the insurance policy protected the lenders. He stated that if the loan were paid in full on time that they payment would be taken off of the loan. They were asking for $2900. Or 6 months payments. When pressed for the name of the lender or the name of the insurance company or a license number, he said that it was company policy not to give out that information.

We contacted the Florida Banking Commission and the states Attorney Generals office. Neither of which had a listing, license, or documents to do business on file. There is a company in Jacksonville, FL that has a very similar name. I contacted them and was told in no way were they affiliated that all they worked with were mortgages and to be careful. Just out of curiosity I asked them what there license number was and it was quoted to me immediatly as matter of factly as saying that the sky is blue, without question or hesitation. I contacted my local back and asked the same question, and was given an immdiate response as well.

Next I checked out the physical address. It is a financial building but all offices in the building have suite #'s. Their address does not. I called two of the other occupants of the building and neither of them ever heard of Fidelity Lending Group. Also, after tracking thier phone numbers, the were discovered to be under bogus names and run thru an untraceable switching station.

I tried calling Mr. Fleming back and was put on hold forever. Then an automated system picked up and asked who I wanted to talk to. Next it asked who I was and I was immediatly disconnected. I tried two more times with the same results.

So be aware!!! They are a total rip-off out to do no good and to steal peoples money who already have financial concerns
