Company has filed a suit and attempting to garnish wages on a time barred debt (1988)

This company has been making harassing phone calls to both my home and my place of employment, they have ignored request that they not call. They have filed suit and are attempting to garnish my wages for 3800 for a bally's debt that was delequent in 1988.
