I recently noticed charges on my account from NMB Platinum, one for $149.95 and another for $49.95, which I never authorized. I contacted my bank, who refunded me the $49.95, but then NMB placed ANOTHER $49.95 charge plus more (in all $215). They are also depositing. 04 into my account on random days. When I call the 1800 number on my statement, I get directed to a website www.consumerbills.com, where they ask me to enter my account number to speak to a live representative. Since I never authorized these charges, obviously, I don't have an account #. Now my acocunt is overdrawn because of these funds being taken out. Thank goodness my bank is being incredibly helpful through all of this, but I'm probably going to have to close my account (which I've had for 5 years) to make it stop. I don't know how to get into contact with these people and they are ripping me off. I also haven't the foggiest idea how they got my checking account numbers. If this happens to you, contact your bank ASAP and keep a close eye on your account.
