I found a $935 ACH witdrawal from my checking account and had the base trace it to Chase bank, which is the originating bank for the withdrawal. Chase then gave me the name and number of GMAC mortgage Customer Care (riiiiigggghhhhttt!) who I in turned called.
When I finally got in touch with someone, they kept insisting that I had to have an account with them for them to auto-deduct from my account. When I finally got to a supervisor, he said I had to FAX a complaint to their research dept and that there was no one in research that had a phone that I could talk to. I've done this twice and called multiple times with no results. I tried to call their corporate office, but any dept I ask for leads to a voice mail or hangs up (don't ask for the Operator, that goes straight to hanging you up)! Our bank is not helping us so we're changing banks. We are considering going to small claims court to get our money back.
