I have had nothing but promblems since i opened a account with First convenience bank, it all started a few years ago when we noticed mistakes they were making, like for instance, lets say my husbands check is $400 he would go deposit it and they would minus 400 instead of add it, we'd go in there and show them this and they'd say, oops our mistake... What? I thought banks weren't supposed to make mistakes especially with other peoples money.
Well, they did this four or five times, of course we knew something fishy was going on and we should get rid of this bank, but me and my husband both work and have two kids and we are very busy and don't have time... So anyways, we get fee's here and there and don't know why we get them and we go ask them about them and they say oh well thats a fee for useing your debit card, we only get these fee's everynow and then, if there is a fee for using the debit card why don't we get one every time. They always give you the runaround.
Well, now i'm fed up, i am beyond angry, when last week apparenlty according to them we were negative $2, ok, well, i'd be more than happy to cover that, but they charged me $99 for being negative, then turned around a day later and charged me $194 for being negative, then turned around two days later and charged me $99 again, then turned around a few days later and charged me over $100 again, so my husband goes down there today and talks to them and wants to know whats going on, and she says there is nothing they can do to help us, that she can help us open a loan to pay this debt off... I don't think so.
So, now here we are, our house payment due in a few days, our electric and water bill due in a week, and they took over $500 from us for being under $2 they didn't give us a phone call or send us a letter about this, nothing, just charges, then we talk to them and they say there is nothing we can do... Well, i'll tell you what i want, justice, we are all letting this bank get away with to much. If i had the money i'd take them to court right now, and thats what i'm looking into doing.
I find it funny that my sister in law worked at first convenience bank for a few months, she informed me that when they trained her, they actually trained her to take peoples money. She said they actually would laugh and say you can make some money on the side if you push this button instead of this one and so on... They truely know they are ripping people off and i am beyond upset, if anyone out there knows of how I can get some of my money back from them please let me know, I am never putting money in there bank again, so now we are in debt over $500 to them and we already live paycheck to paycheck, i don't know how we are gonna pay this without going homeless. Someone please help.
