My mother called me today saying that some Kevin called wanting to talk to me. I am glad she did not answer the call, because he called my inlaws as well and was threatening to them and saying I lived in another state, (I have never been to) and 2 kids, this bill needs to paid.
I have not talked with but my husband has. I do not think it is right that they can bring up our SS# and find everything about us. What about this Privacy Act! He told my husband that they will put a Lien on our house or garnish his wages if he didin't come up with $2500 by tonight! So in one day
we where suppose to come up with this amount of money, there's no way we could!
We want to pay our debt, but we are not going to be threatened either! I have called a Debt Reduction co. Today to take care of things, but that will will take 10 -12 days before it starts to take effect. Our debt is with Chase Bank, they also said our last payment bounced, which is crap, we just paid it late. This isn't fun for us, but when these idiots call our family and who knows who else, this is getting to be too much
So what are we suppose to do in the meantime?
I have told my husband to tell him that his threats are against the law and we are trying to take care of it.
