Ripoff consumer fraud

I signed a contract with this "debt reduction" company whom after signing, I could not reach on the phone. I stopped payment after they had 4000.00 of my money... I can't get it back.

I still cannot reach this company after 1 year and even after seeking legal assistance, this company has not returned my money to me. I am across the country and I guess they think I can't go to Cal / but WHEN I do, they will also owe me that money for the trip too.
