In early July, I accepted a payday loan from this company to help get some bills caught up. The end of July, I filed a chapter 13 bankruptcy. This company has tried to collect money from my checking account ever since. They act like they do not have to follow the law. I have had to unfortunately close my checking account due to the many ways they are trying to get money from my checking account.
Last week they try to take out an electronic check for 475.00 even though the loan and fees do not add up to that amount. My lawyer is an idiot and claims that I should have closed the account down a while ago so they could no longer try to take money from me. I wanted him to go after them for violating federal law that I am protected under since I filed bankruptcy. But he said that I would end up spending 500-1000.00 in legal fees and that the judge would just tell them to stop what they were doing. What a bunch of crap!
I did not know about this website beforehand-I wish I had known about it. I would not have even went to them for money. Now that my account is closed, they are not going to get one more dime from me. Just a big warning to others who might end up in my predictment.
