You people gotta hear this one!!! I banked with wamu for months. I had no problems. I also had direct deposit. So my pay was in the bank every pay day.
Well payday came so i decided to go food shopping. Boy what an embarrassment! I got declined. Here i am fighting with the cashier because i know i got payed. Well i had to charge my food. I had no cash. I got home and called the bank. Ya know what they told me? They froze my account! I had no acess to my money. I couldn't use my debit card or write a check. I couldn't go to the bank because it was in another state. 5 hrs away from me. The worse part is i needed my heart pills. I didn't have the money to get my pills. I begged them to let me use my debit card just that once to buy my pills so i don't have a heart attack or stroke. They said sorry mam we can't do that.
I called several times that day explaining i needed my pills. They said ok mam we are taking care of it as we speak. They said they were sending me my money. They called me at my house to tell me this. I never got my money! This is my paycheck that i work for! I can't have access to it how can this bank just freeze my money like that? Wamu needs to be stopped! We need to close them down! They have no right holding my paycheck!
I'm still waiting for my money! It's been 3 weeks! Luckily my daughter gave me the money for my pills.
