FINGERHUT is a catalog Credit Provider. You Order Items from there catolog, and as your payment history and orders improve, so doesn't your credit line increase. There are terms of agreement, just as a credit card, because credit is extended by a BANK, LAST KNOWN BANK WAS (AXSYS NATIONAL BANK), use to be Fingerhut Nat. Bank.
The nice part about this is they put you (report) to the CRACredit Reporting Agenc (ies), so if your in good standing it will help you. We got a Discover Card even, and with no job, just limited incomes and satifactory reports.

We disputed a charge. According to terms of agreement. The did-not respond to terms of agreement. (we would not pay) They apply payments to 1) administrative 2) over the limit, late, ext., 3) interest, 4) and finnally to the purchases.
They defended there non-complience with terms and agreement, REPORTED BAD CREDIT TO THE CRAs (ruining our credit). UPON (VIGOROUSLY) fighting through Complaints with various Consumer Agencies, The negative reports were removed by the CRAs, not FINGERHUT AKA AXSYS.
Even though they were removed, we are now left with no
Credit history or insuficient history when applying for
Credit, resulting in denials.
RIPOFF They want you to fallow terms of Agreement, but they ignor it!
