Orchard Bank has been one of my credit cards for too long... Ive never been late on a payment and always paid far more than the minimum payment due... However they have doubled my interest rate and used the excuse that it was due to my credit report... My credit has done nothing but gotten better and they are trying to tell me that they are a credit card company for people trying to establish credit and regardless of my credit standing that i can pay off the card and get a lower interest rate for a fee but after the first 6 months they can do what they want... How is it that there is no guidelines for banks like them they prey on people trying to improve their credit they give you low apr while they charge you the initial annual fees then when those fees are no longer charged they double your apr... This is nothing more than stealing.
