False Repayment Claim ripoff

The following is a copy of a false claim I recieved via e-mail regarding a non-existant Pay-Day loan. When I responded wih the threat that I was contacting a lawyer they stopped responding for the time being. If anyone knows if we have any legal action we can take please notify me ASAP:

You or your attorney must contact me today by 7pm cst.

To avoid further actions taken against you. You will need to make a payment by 7/30/07.

Please diregard if you have or are going to honor the arrangment you have made with me. Otherwise read on and contact me today.

Your account status has escalated to the Refusal to Pay/Intentional Neglect department. Westbury has not obtained the slightest amount of cooperation from you and will therefore be taking all appropriate and legally available remedies to collect this balance. Through your actions (including stopping scheduled payments, not funding scheduled payments, closing bank accounts and/or ignoring our calls) it is evident that you have no intention of paying this account on your own volition and we must take further action to enforce our rights to receive payment of your debt.

Borrowing money and intentionally refusing to repay it is a serious matter that is recognized under the law of your state. The consequences for your failure to pay the loan are clearly outlined in the loan contract that you signed on the date you accepted money from my client.

I would recommend you refresh your memory on the terms and conditions outlined in that contract. To avoid the extensive lawful collection practices described therein from incurring on your account, return the attached authorization form before 5:00pm CST today. Failure to contact me by close of business today will result in additional fees being added to your account, including but not limited to the additional costs incurred by Westbury to pursue all available legal remedies against you for collection of the debt. Consider this letter your final demand for payment prior to those legal remedies being pursued.
