Well they (CCS) got me too!
Some how I was approved for a Merchantcard account through CCS. With a slight fee. I don't know where they came from or how they found me but I can NOT get away from them. Basically it boils down to this I end up with a credit Card named above from CCS. Very high limit $6,500. Didnt want it ignored it, then I got 3 large catalogs ignored those too.
Well in the next few months money is being deducted from my bank account. After further research, I put it all together. They first charged my account 2 simultaneously $99 benefit fees. Let me read you word for word what it said We Will automatically renew your annual fee along with your 2 great benefits of $99 each
What I dont want the card so I for sure dont want to pay an annual fee of $99 and 2 benefit fees of $99 each, benefits for, what are they, what do they do, no explanation for that. CRAZY.
So the letter also stated a month later the annual fee will be deducted. I call immediately and explain everything, about how I denied there offered and sent a letter and no money should be coming out of my account. Im told I have to notify them in writing of my cancellation. And its to a P.O. Box so so much for certified mail.
But I send another letter my money has yet to be returned. But low and behold the month later my account was deducted the annual $99 fee. I tried everything to get that money back havent seen any of it and its been a year. I was relieved at this point to be rid of them so I thought.
I received a letter on July 11 telling me the same action will be taken on August 1st benefits of $99 each and Sept 1 $99. Annual fee. Letter states they need to be notified via in writing for cancellation by July 30th. So I write the letter. August 1 two charges of $99 were deducted from my account. Thats an instant $198 dollars bye bye in addition to the money taken from the year before.
Well today I am printing these letters I have found against CCS and taking them to my bank and demanding them to reverse the charges.
