In searching for grants online, I came upon http://www.completegrantsources.com/
After reading all the hoopla on the website, I went for it and ordered the package. Its just a Grant Sources Guide with address listings of companies all over the U.S. Where you can write to ask for information on a grant request. Below each name and address of the companies are key codes to determine which trust or foundation awards grants for your specific needs.in the back of the source guide is a generic sample letter.
I sent out like 7 or 8 letters, got one returned to me and another letter stating that they do not give out grants but for a certain charge they would send me a list of their annual report or something like that. Im still waiting for responses from the other foundations I sent a letter of request to.
I emailed the people who are listed on the website giving their testimonies and never got a response back from any of them. Also, the two grant centers listed as a source for help in grant writing charge you to attend their workshop and its not cheap either.
If youre thinking about ordering from this website, dont bother. Its not much help, especially if you don't know what you're doing regarding a grant request.
