I paid credit protection to capitol one on my credit cards from day one. When the doctor declared me disabled I contacted Capitol One for forms to fill out to have my credit cards paid during my disability.
I never received a form. I called a second time and still did not receive a form.
Today I received a letter from Capitol One stating they were raising my interest rate. I was very upset. They said if I did not want to pay the new interest rate then I could cancel.
I cancelled my cards. My husband said not to stress myself out about the credit protection he would pay the cards off.
I feel that I paid credit protection on my cards for several years. I paid one card late one time because i was not working. Now they want to get rid of me. I feel I was ripped off.
If you have a capitol one card beware of the credit protection.
