I am really working on getting my credit together and getting rid of my financial woes, but I have really hit a hrd place with this particular company. I have learned from an attorney friend that you should always send in a debt validation letter and wait for their documentation to come back BEFORE paying an aged debt, especially if you do not recall the debt or the balance.
My problem right now is this particular company claims to have no physiacal address. I found the one I used to publish this report on the internet. I would like to know if someone can verify this address or possibly give me an address that they may have for this abundance of companies.
I like others have been threatened to have my supervisor called which I have a feeling goes against the fair debt collecting laws, but what can you do? I ended up having my account closed down due to these folks debiting my account twice per week three weeks in a row, it exceeded my banks allowed ACH withdrawals and my account was closed, so now that they have done this I refuse to allow them to debit from my new account and Money Gram is to expensive they need to accept my money orders as payment (I do not even want them having my account numbers) and like it or they will not be paid. Isn't it illegal to not maintain a physical address?
