I made a fairly large ATM deposit at the National City Bank drive up ATM on 82nd Street here in Indianapolis on a Sunday. On Monday evening I logged into my online banking and noticed a transaction saying 'ATM adjustment' in the amount of $100 and I was furious. I have been a loyal customer for a while and never overdrawn and always kept a very large amount of money in my checking account and always use my check card to earn points which makes them money. I was dumbfounded when I saw this. I immediately called national city and received nasty customer service reps who were VERY unhelpful and refused to tell me anything saying I must have made an error when typing the amount in or counting. No way, I recounted it numerous times and my friend who was with me did also and I know I made no error. The branch was also extremely unhelpful. They won't tell me anything about it saying it's against their policy to disclose that and it's up to the ATM department. I'm closing my accounts right away and they have lost out on a great customer and tens of thousands of dollars in deposits and money from check card usage. My friends also will be closing their accounts after finding out what has happened to me and my grandmother with her estate and trust accounts will be leaving also. They are shady, scandalous, they steal deposits, lie, deceive their customers, and refuse deposits for no reason. I have seen several other people complain about the same things. Beware of National City, they don't value your business, they steal customer's money, they deceive u with their products that aren't what they say, and they have terrible customer service. They used to be a great bank when they were smaller but the larger they get and the more smaller banks they acquire the worse they get.
