During a recent refinance through Vandyke mortgage, while working with one Daniel chandler, I expected a simple refinance of a $106,000 first mortgage, and the paying off of just two credit card balances together of about 7 to 8 thousand dollars. This was the only deal discussed, my purpose being to lower my mortgage payment and get rid of the cards.
When it was all said and done, The credid cards were NOT paid off, My Mortgage was in fact $8000.00 more than before and the payment was $70.00 more dollars a month!
I tried for over a week to contact Dan Chandler but he would not return my calls, When I did finally get him on the phone and explain the situation, he stated he would find out what was going on and call me back, Three days of waiting for a call that didn't come I once again tried to reach Dan, for two weeks I tried, leaving numerous phone messages, I finally called an associate and left a message with him, Dan Chandler called within the hour!
At that time I was informed by mr Chandler that the payoff of credit cards weren't a part of the deal, The argument went on for some time with mr Chandler insisting I knew that, which is false. This whole deal was full of misrepresentation on mr Chandlers part. The funding was done through Countrywide, and I've written them a letter of complaint as well. "Beware of Vandyke Mortgage Corporation and one Dan Chandler!
