Received a phone call from an individual by the name of Charles Valerio on May 10th in response to a request that I made in regards to an emergency loan. He said I was approved for a loan of $5000, all I would have to do is forward the first 5 months of payments as I do not have a sufficient credit history. The total amount that I have to forward would be 759.70. I would then not have to make a payment for 6 months.
I sent this money via wire transfer as I needed the money desperately as my mother just had a serious car accident and I needed to pay up some bills since I would be taking some time off. I then get a sign a contract stating that this is what I would have to pay and was assured that I would get the money after another department confirmed that my information was correct.
I then get a phone call from a Michael Mignone, Sr. Accounts Manager at this firm stating that Charles Valerio gave me wrong information. He stated that the contract should have stated the because my credit history was poor, I would have to pay 10 months in advance before the money could be given to me. I questioned further the procedure and he forwarded an addendum to the contract that clearly states that upon receipt of yet an additional 759.70, I would not have to make a payment for 12 months, and I would be allowed to borrow an additional 2000 since the error was on their part. This too was done expeditiously. Mr. Mignone even put this in the addendum to the contract.
I called Mr. Mignone and gave him the reference number for the money transfer and he assured me that the money would be deposited within 3 hours. This information was as well put into the addendum. I was to check my bank and call him back at that time. I checked the bank in 3.5 hours and no money was ever transferred. I called this establishment many times only to be transferred to several different voice mail boxes. No one returned my phone call no matter what I did.
I now have to figure out where I am going to come up with a mess load of money to pay bills. Because of this situation, I will now lose my house and my kids and I will be on the street because of ruthless individuals such as this that prey on people in need.
