It all began when my husband and I moved to Houston when he accepted his new job. His employer supplied a separate phone line in our home for business calls. Since that time we have debt collectors calling for somebody we have never heard of. Most of the time when we explain that it is a business line and that there is nobody here by that name most agencies will say sorry and not call again.
Not Allied. We receive calls from them on a daily basis. When we inform them that the have they wrong number they look it up in the system and guess what they have no record of that number on file. Twice now I have spoken to Jose once and Adrian twice assuring me that they were taking the information to Arlita Jo Woodwin-not sure if her name is spelled correctly or not and let her know that this is the wrong number and to take it out of the system. Arlita is supposedly the VP of Operations. I have tried to contact her several times and to no avail. She's never there. I guess my thing is I just want them to stop calling. I will send a cease and desist letter if I have to but will it do any good if all I have is a bad phone number?
I don't know how they look these phone numbers up at or how they get them but I would think they would do more to insure that they are calling the right people.
