Refianced with AMC told them that we were looking for a lower interest rate, we wanted an escrow account set up for our taxes and insurance, also a fixed mortgage rate.
We went to sign the papers the interest rate was higher than what we were told, it was not a fixed rate and there was no escrow set up. We told the agent that this was not what we had agreed upon. She called AMC and was told that this is all they could do for us at this time. If we made our payment on time for one year we cound refinance for a fixed rate and a better interest rate.
Ameriquest inflated our appraisal the first time and when we tryed to refinance the appraisal came back and was about $39,000.00 lower. Ameriquest said that the house did not appraise for enough to cover the value of the loan and they could not refiance our loan at this time.
Now they want to foreclose. Can some one help and share there information with me so we can try to keep our house.
