When we at our wits end with the numerous tax letter, we made a phone call to Roni Lynn Deutch, a Professional Tax Corporation. At which time we spoke to a person who identified her self as an attorney. She stated our taxes would be reduced to pennies on a dollar, that they would work with us and make payments. I explained we were already in a financial bind and these payments would be difficult ; response not a problem. Oh contraire when we couldn't make the payment we received all kind of threatening phone calls; for example they would report to the IRS that they were no longer handling the file and then the IRS would begin taking 75% of our wages. They did not do much work on the file until all the money was paid; every month something needed to be updated or was incomplete. Then we they finally got to a compromise, we were told there wasn't much they could do with regards to a comprise as we did not qualify. However, they could help set up payment arrangements., which at this point we started our own dialog with the IRS and came up with the same payment arrangement amount. I could have used that money to pay off my IRS debt.
This company provided terrible service, you couldn't get in touch with an actual attorney on a regular basis. They turned out to be more of an collection agency that harassed us for money and made us feel like we were hostages. I have been checking the internet here and there to see if anything comes up with regards to negative feed back, so I could join in on trying to get a class action suit against these thieves.
More people need to report this business, because do not provide a tax service.
