Misleading fraud avoidance poor customer service rude put off's mistreated and ripped off screwed others too swindlers thieves slime-ball slow prossessing the business that doesn't give a dam tricked and lied to us victimized many consumers

Unfortunately for me, I was under the influence of narcartics (I have Cancer), when I answered the telephone. I accept the fault for giving the person on the other line all my personal information, I still do not have a clear recognition of the phone call. I realized I had a problem when some of my own checks were returned due to lack of funds. I researched the debits charged to my account and traced them to First Capital Consumers. Here is the chronological order of events: June 3 - accounted debited for $199.00 (this pays for only two of my prescription) June 12 - insufficient funds in my accountJune 13 - Started calling the Customer Service number I had written down on the initial sales call, 1-416-488-4664. I should have seen it coming, when a customer service number isn't toll free there is going to be a problem. I called several times that day and never got through to a person. I left a recorded message with my information each time, hoping for a call back. June 14 - I started calling at 9:00AM MST every 15 mins. Until 4:00PM MST, still nothing. June 17 - I needed my money back, I am on disability and can't afford these types of services, nor could I use them. I began calling at 8:00AM MST, and I just kept hitting redial until I finally got a human voice around 2:00PM MST. I told the rep I wanted a refund and she became hostile. It took me a few minutes to look up my bank statement so I could verify the date of debit and the transaction number respectively. She informed me she couldn't be on the phone this long waiting for me. So much for quality customer service. She hung up on me. I did get a name, but that doesn't do any good as they give false names by practice. Another rep informed me of this, I was lucky and got through on the first try after getting hung up on. The second rep informed me I would have to speak with her supervisor, "Joy Brown", yet another fictious name. Of course her supervisor wouldn't be in until next Monday. Great. I became ill and didn't get back to pursuing my refund until July 15. I continued to have difficulties getting through to a person, but eventually I did. This rep had no information regarding my refund and I was again informed I would need to speak with a supervisor, who of course, wouldn't be in until the next day. The rep did relay information to me regarding faxing a letter stating I wanted a refund, I was also told to fax proof of the debit against my account. So, I did, to the fax # 1-416-488-1497. I waited until the afternoon of the next day to call "Joy Brown". When I finally got through (just keep pushing redial) I asked for her and got the run around. I explained my situation and that I was requesting a refund, or rather checking on the status of my refund, and again the rep became hostile. She asked me if I had signed the document requesting the card, and I did not. She informed me that the entire package sent by First Capital Consumers needed to be returned to them. OK, I replied... She hung up before I could ask any further questions. I immediately went to the post office and mailed the package back via certified mail. I received notice of delivery on Saturday. I called Monday to check the status of my refund and the rep didn't have a clue. I gave a condensed version of the events that had taken place. She put me on hold for a couple minutes and when she came back she said it take a few days for these things to get processed. She would put a rush on it.By chance, I did a search on First Capital Consumers this morning to check if they had a web site. I thought maybe I could get some resolve or acknowledgement via email (I know that was a stretch, but I am determined to get my money back). I found this site with all these people that had the same problem I did. So, here I am filing this report, and still waiting for my refund... Maybe tomorrow. When I have good days I prefer not to spend it on issues such as this. If I could assess a value on the time and energy I've put into this "adventure", it would well exceed the $199.00. But, I have learned persistence during my battle with cancer, and I refuse to lose. I will continue to pursue this until I receive my refund. Thanks to all those who are contributing their harrowing experiences with First Capital Consumers. LisaThornton, Colorado
