I have a major complaint against this company. I took out a loan with them in June. I paid my payments until November at that time I changed bank accounts and fell behind on 1 payment. I spoke with their Reps and was told that they offer a deferrment program where they will freeze the account and not withdraw any fund for 2 1/2 months as long as I made an immediate Moneygram payment to them which I did.
Here goes my h*lish ordeal with theses Nazis: I was called by them in February and notified that I had not paid on my account since October (lie #1 I made a payment in November), not just that I had been getting NSF charges in the amount of like 600.00 because they had been trying to charge my account weekly on an account that they were told not to use. I was told by them that they NEVER spoke to me about a defferment (Lie # 2 how would I know it was an option if they did not mention it to me?) Now they sent me a letter stating that they will do the deferrment if I make an immediate payment to them via Moneygram (sound familiar). I didn't do it, as they lost my trust.
Now I get upwards of 10 phone calls per day between the hours of 0800 A.M. - 10:00 P.M., they call my job and have made threats on the recorded phone line that if I do not call them back within x amount of time they will send someone to my job or they will send someone to my house. They have called my family members which have no clue about wht is going on and have made threats to them stating in very loud, rude ways for them to tell me that "I only have 2 days" (2 days for what? This seemed like a threat to my sister and my brother who happens to be a former police officer). They called my home on Martin Luther King Day (a Holiday) I was working so my daughter answered the phone (my mother was home with the kids) this person asked my 13 yr old daughter if I was home, when My daughter said no she was asked when I will be home, my daughter sied she didn't know so the WITCH from Cash Call threatened to call Child Services and have my kids taken away because I wasn't home with them. Needless to say I got a call from an extremely distrought and tearful child regarding this. I work in an emergency profession so we work 365 days a year and on call on holidays, but this person doesn't believe it. When I called this idiot back to confront her about threatening my child she hung up the phone on me, I called 3 times and she hung up every time. BUT she then proceeded to call my home 6 times in a row, when my mother answered the phone they hung up on her every time, and although they were different phone numbers on caller ID when my mother called them back they all came back to Cash Call.
The next day my mother called the number back and this person answered the phone my mother asked her what right she had to threaten a 13 yr old girl and Cash Calls response: Get Over IT. When this person was advised that she made threats on a recorded phone line she said Oh Well. I know I owe these people money and up until this happened I had every intention of giving them my new billing info but now I refuse to. Has anyone else ever ran into a situation like this? I have a meeting with a law firm and hopefully they will take care of this. Oh I have been told that someone will show up at my house sometime to collect the debt (sounds like a Mafia threat to me) I told them go ahead because I have 5 100 lb dogs that would love to meet them (maybe not my smartest move but my mom is home with my kids by herself and we live out in the country and the dogs are their protection, so I made the threat oh well). These people are very threatening in their tactics very much like the Nazis or the Mafia.
