First National Card
As an 18 y/o i only wanted to establish credit but they scammed me ripoff

I received an envelope addressed to me which appeared to feature a credit card with a great deal, stupidly I activated the card, I scanned the document and didnt fully understand that you could only use it for their catalog. I attempted to use the card only to realize it was fake and that it had a TYPO on the back. Also the "magnetic strip" was too thin and slightly crooked and SCRATCHED OFF EASILY, there was no VISA, EXPRESS, MASTERCARD or any known stamp on the card itself... There were no other numbers other than the activation number to call.

Another thing is that when I revised the envelope I noticed that it DID NOT have the ink stamp that proves when a piece of mail has gone through the post office, which leads me to believe it was actaully placed in my mailbox.

I will call my bank as soon as possible and the FTC or FBI to report this. This company needs to be shutdown! The lady who helped me said her name was Maurissa Guerrero. When I told her my birthday, (I recently turned 18) She chuckled, I said "hey, I need to establish credit at some point, right? All she did was laugh. I'm scared they are going to charge my account and ruin any chances of good credit.
