I applied for and was accepted for a debt consolidation loan through Premium Lending Firm. I took the contract that the lending firm emailed to me to a lawyer to verify the validity of the contract. After the lawyer "blessed off" on the contract I signed it and faxed it to the lending firm. Next I was required to pay a $1280.00 Default Security Deposit which was to open an Insurance Policy on the amount of the loan I was approved for. I sent the money via Money Gram and since the lending firm received my money they have not made contact with me again. I have reported this incident to the FBI Office out of New Orleans, Louisiana. I have also verified that Premium Lending Firm is not located at the address that is listed on their website or the address that is printed on their contract (after further examination the address on the contract and website are not the same, one is 1600 Market St., Philadelphia, PA, and the other is 1500 Market St., Philadelphia, PA.). Also, the US Secret Service (an Agent out of the Philadelphia, PA area) is involved in this matter as well. There are no complaints about this lending firm on the BBB (Better Business Bureau) website or the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) website.
