BABC, A trail of misleading info, manipulating sales people, and lies all lead to one thing, FRAUD... The BABC is nothing but a maze of deception and decite. I must admit this situation did sound good. Thinking that since it would be a secured credit card how could it be fraudulent. After all it was my money they werent offering me a real credit line just a secured one. They however did fail to mention this 10dollar membership fee that they would be deducting every so often as well as that it really wasnt for them as the representive stated it was so they could report to the credit companys that I was making payments. So after making my first call to not only complain about this surprise deduction from my bank account but that i still hadnt recieved a card after three weeks i was startled at the response. Rashan as he stated his name was. And his id number 8964 (I asked for a last name and he refused) stated that my card was on its way although it had yet not been sent out that they were still processing this and as soon as it was done it would be on its way. I was a little shocked and i asked him for a time frame because i didnt want a card floating around in the mail with my information. He said within the next ten days... Ten days later no card... I give them an extra two days over the weekend... I call the company once again. They ask for my phone number to bring up my info i give it to them and he asks why i was calling. I said I had yet to receive the card. He said that it was being processed then he said oh our system is down youll have to call back. I said thats okay i would just like to ask him a few questions. I asked to speak to a supervisor he said that wasnt possible id have to call back. Then i asked for a name he waivered and finally said nicole... I then asked for an address... He seemed a little agitated then i asked him a question. I asked since i was being monitored if it was okay for me to record this conversation for my records. He said no i can not and he does not authorize that he said no... I laughed and said thank you and good bye... Now I knew something was strange. I then called back a few minutes later... I spoke to a women I gave her my number and she says oh our computers are down but let me see if your in our old file and then she say yes here it is... How can I help you... I asked her when i would recive my card she said... That they wanted to include all this special coupons for me in the great big package so they were waiting for them to come in... I asked her how long does it take for these coupons to arrive and why couldnt they just send the card... She said she didnt know when the coupoons would arrive... I asked can i at least get a time frame guaranted by you. She said she couldnt say i then said okay can we say at least within six months I will recive my card... She then said no she couldnt say... Then I said well then i guess we are thru and I guess you dont give refunds. She said no we dont... I said goodbye... I then got on the computer and started researching this place and found all kinds of weird things like the fact that they have two companies a vacation and credit both with the same address but the cities are different. Also many complaints... Also the bay area buisness company does not appear on anything. I looked for just the other company... I guess ive learned my lesson. DonLos Angeles, California
