In a tight jam to help a friend a received a loan from United Cash loans in the amount of $200 and paid it off in increments of $50. I had to fax in the request to repay this way. After paying it off I had to request another loan in the amount of $250. When speaking to a representative about the second loan I asked her if I needed to fill out anything to repay the second loan the way I did the first one and she told me no they could take care of it and I didn't have to send anything in. I received the loan on 8/18. I noticed that on 12/1 I was still paying the loan off and they were taking out $90 from my account. I called my bank to dispute the charge and they put the $90 and the previous amount for $110 back in my account. I then received an email from United Cash Loans saying I needed to call them. I tired calling but was left on hold for several minutes and then went online for their Live Help and that was always conveniently unavailable. I was finally able to speak to someone a week later and then I asked the lady why is so much money coming out of my account she said that since I did not fax to them my repayment intentions, then I would have to make 4 payments of $75 ($300) and then begin paying back my loan after that. I told the rep that is not what the previous rep told me and since they record all the conversations then she can verify the conversation I had with the rep. She told me that since I spoke to her in August they wouldn't keep the tapes that long (another convenient tactic). And then said since she wasn't there she couldn't corroborate the story. She then told me that they will be submitting a check to my bank for the money that was sent back. I told her that my bank will reject it and she said I will be sent to their internal collections department. I then asked her why is that they don't have a phone number on their website and they are so hard to get in contact with or that when I check my loan status on loan there is never a phone number, but when I have a default in my loan, all of sudden their phone number is emailed to me and on my status page. She said that they have thousands of customers and can put their number on the internet because they would be overwhelmed with calms. I told her that I am sure Bank of AMerica has more customers than you do and they seem to be able to handle it and she disputed that. She then said that maybe their site is experiencing technical problems or maybe it is just the user and then I told her that I am very computer savvy and hung up on her.
