Ripoff Words from someone who has worked there

I used to work for this company and decided that I would do some research on the internet to see what I could find about them and came across this site and read the complaints.

The enrollment companies are a bunch of salesman trying to make a commission and do it by giving empty promises and false hopes to people who are in desperate need of financial help. It's easy to see how it could look like a joint scam. After being lied to and taken for hundreds for set up fees and stuff, they are then sent to Nationwide who have the job of trying to settle the debts and keep people out of court.

Regarding the statement of how people can work there and go to bed - we need to make money too and once people find out what kind of a company they are working for and what the job really is (since they seem to leave all of that out during the interview), they leave once they can find another job unless they are a really mean and heartless person that could care less. A major complaint from people is that they can never get the same person to help them. That's because they quit. Not everyone feels customers are scammed but that you signed the papers when joining the enrollment company that all that is happening to you can happen and what the possibilities are.

The best thing I can suggest to anyone is if you are in debt, try to settle them on your own. You don't need someone to do it for you. If you can't and bankruptcy is an option, take it. Your credit will definitely get worse by working with a debt settlement company than it would if you would have just stayed on the path you were already on. Don't be a sucker for the nice people from the enrollment companies. Remember: If it sounds to good to be true then... It probably is. What you end up "saving" from paying the creditor through them is what you pay them in fees for "settling" your accounts. Life is easier without it.
