Forget the outrageous $7 fee to accept a payment on-line. Forget the "monthly credit reporting fee". Forget that most of the people there that I have dealt with sound like smug, butt holes.
I have 3 other credit cards. None of those do anything along the lines of the issues listed above.
Also, NONE of them hold your payment for 15-20 days before adding it to your available credit. I pay on-line. The money is deducted out of my account within 2 or 3 days. Why THE HELL does First Premier claim that my bank could demand to have the money back after paying it to them? Does this make any sense to anyone? I am not talking about the possiblility of insufficient funds - to hold a payment until it clears makes sense to me. FP holds your available credit until they feel like releasing it. I am sure that they want to earn interest off the payment before releasing the funds.
Paying by Quick Collect is the only way that they release the funds immediately. They claim that that is the only way the funds are guaranteed.
But Wait!...
To First Premier:
What if someone pays through quick collect with STOLEN money? Oh my gosh! You might have to rewrite you policy based on that scenario! It is about as stupid as thinking my bank could ask for it's money back after transfering it to you.
Look at all of the complaints you are receiving and imagine all of the others that don't take the time to complain about your business model. You think that because you state your terms and conditions that it is OK to rip off consumers? If that were the case then there would be no practice of tort law since a signed contract would be iron-clad and indisputable.
First Premier is a TERRIBLE company. I am going to pay off my card and mail it back to them in pieces. I might even include a parting gift as a tolken of my appreciation.
