I too am a victim of Fairview Lending Group. Marcus Powell telephoned me on 10/10 stating I had been approved for a $10000.00 personal loan and I needed to send 6 payments in advance $1400 for the collateral. I did send the money to Brenda Carpenter in Creston Alberta Canada on 10/13. Donald Perry telephoned me back and stated the lender backed out but if I would send another $1400 he had another lender willing to fund the loan.
I waited until 10/17 to send the other payment and again after the money transfer was complete Donald Perry telephoned me and said that lender backed out and if I would send $2800 he had a lender who would fund a $20000 loan. At this point I new it was a scam and asked for all of the money be returned. Donald Perry assured me it would be refunded on 11/8 and I have still not received my $2800 refund.
I am still not sure how they received my information in the first place. I had searched the internet for personal loans such as Credit and American General Finance. If anyone has any information please let me know.
