Well, it was May 23 and I got a phone call from these people. They said that I was approved to recieve a MasterCard with a $2500.000 credit line offer with only a $19.95 set up fee. Thinking this was a great deal, I accepted and gave them my debit card number (WRONG THING TO DO!!!) and the gentleman sent me to the customer rep who took all my info and told me that a $99.95 annual fee and a $59.95 processing fee would be on my creditcard.
Thinking they meant that this would be debit to the MasterCard I agreed and hung up the phone. A month later I was looking at my bank account online and noticed a $99.95 and a $59.95 debit to my account (boy, did them checks ever bounce) so I called the company and of course, I got the run around. I ask them what my credit limit really was and then thats when I heard for the first time about the "pay as you go" thing.
Never did the operator mention this to me, nor did they say the monies would be debited from my checking account. I called to have it cancelled, and of course, once again, I got the run-a-round. It was a lession hard learned. A total of $179.95 lesson, but I did learn it. So now, I am on a mission to let everyone know that this is the biggest rip off there is and not to get sucked up into it.
If it sounds to good to be true, it is. Im trying to get my money back, but that probably will never happen. So, once agaign, dont get sucked into this scam... Its not worth it.
