Two fraudulant charges were made to my credit card. I had a zero balance before these charges. I called the companies who made the debit to my account, they had voice emails, but never returned my calls (there were 10 calls made to each), I also called the Fraud phone numbers provided by HSBC 8 times and the results were the same, voice emails with no response. HSBC was a real pain to deal with kept calling me everyday for payment, we told them it was not my debt and that we were not getting any response to the companies who made the charges to the account. Falana Pitts from HBSC made me an offer to pay half of the bill and they would notify the credit reporting agencies my account was paid, but that I would have this hanging over my head for seven to ten years with less than a full balance paid would show. I have rejected their offer because the debt was not mine to began with and I can not live with the false credit report that goes with it. I do not know what to do here.
