I too received a pre-approved credit card certificate with a guaranteed credit limit of $10,500. I usually don't fall for this kind of scam. I was sceptical about it and read it carefully, but First National is very clever in their wording about the use of the card, "purchases from credit provider, " which I did not realize until I had read some of the other postings on this site.
I scanned a copy of the certificate in my computer before I sent my $45 in and I am going to forward it to the TV news magazines like Good Morning America, 20/20, Oprah, and any other popular TV show and let the country know what other kinds of terrorism is out there.
This has been very upsetting. Since the economy has taken a turn for the worse, and since the September 11th tragedy, I have lost my job and about to loose about everything else. I thought this opportunity was a Godsend and was going to get me through these hard times, but I guess not.
