This mortgage was originally with Matrix Financial who held back payments for a few months and then filed for foreclosure. We were forced into bankruptcy.
Matrix never filed a proof of claim and they used trustee payments intended for post petition arrears to pay for other things than the ones the money was intended for.
They claim that they can use those funds any way they want.
In the meantime they also messed up with the escrow account showing different starting amounts in different escrow analysis all done within a few days difference, two of them even show actual deposits on one but not the other and to this day I have not received an explanation, these are the people who are supposed to be accurate handling my escrow account.
Recently they double paid my homeowners insurance, once in June and the other August I guess they didn't realize that they had paid the bill already?
I am still trying to get an explanation to all the mistakes they have made but they are less than cooperative, we are in the middle of a big mess because of their mistakes.
To anyone contemplating getting a loan with them, take my advice and RUN the other way.
To this date they have not acknowledged any mistakes on their part.
