I also received the same false letter stating I owed an alleged debit from a creditor I've never heard of called LITERARY GUILD SELECT BOOK CLUB. This company is stating they are now the NEW Creditor and that I have a balance owed for $68.23. I guess they are also unaware that I'm a victim of idenity fraud and I know the law and I have my attorney on this for this fraud. I myself also work in the business of debt collections. They seriously don't think that someone in their right mind can recieve a bill from a company they never heard of and that I'm going to pay for another company that I've never heard of that mey not even exsist Ha Ha Ha...
I also have reported this company to the Better Business Bureau or better yet got to it online bbb.org to report this company of you recieve any odd or fraudulent mail from this company. I advise you DON'T PAY ANYTHING!!! You will lose your money unless you are 100% sure you owe a debt. Also be aware that if you get a similar letter from RJM they are going to also tell you have Opportunities to pay this debt in two different ways, and I can go ahead an choose 4 more books at no additional cost along with a payment. According to your state law unless you've legally signed a written contact or agreement with a company you monthly installments.
PLEASE READ ALL MAIL AND EMAIL CAREFULLY BECAUSE JUST LIKE THIS LETTER I GOT IT IS A SCAM. I want to look out for everyone who has ever been a victim of fraud and anyone who hasn't but also that doesn't understand the law. You can also report and complain this to this website. PLease check any buisness before doing buisness with the BBB online or complaint. You should also visit
