Funny how when you look up this Company's name on search, it shows multiple ripoff alerts.
I applied for something different, NOT an Acclaim Visa. THEY still took my info, charged my account and claimed that they had me, had my IP address and so that entitled them to CHARGE me and also to deny ANY kind of refund. THIS is BEFORE they even SENT a card.
I called the 800 number and of course, it is a day long wait so you would lose patience and hang up. Then after emailing, a idiot named MARC sends me a email saying that they would "look into it" and another saying thta I could GO to the police and claim fraud, and after investigation and blah blah blah they would send the refund to the POLICE department. Now how much BS can a man take before he drowns in it?
I called the bank the same day. I went there to MY bank in PERSON, filled out a ford supporting my denial of this matter. Since it is being done so soon, they assure me that the charge will be removed from ny account. BUT will the bank eat the loss and allow this scam company to KEEP that money? I certainly HOPE not!
Please do not ever respond to online bulk mail things. They will get you!
