I, too, have been having a lot of trouble with this company, Global Vantedge. They have somehow managed to get my social security number, my address, my phone number and seem to know everything about me.
They have been calling and harassing me for about two months regarding an alleged $200 debt owed to Sears from which I know nothing about. I have now had to order a copy of my credit report to find out what is going on.
Anyhow, when I tell them to not call me any more, I was told that they would call me "every night until I pay this bill." The person from Global Vantedge insisted this could be done regarding collections, but I'm sure this is not true. They wanted me send them the money within an hour to an hour and a half. This guy was unbelievably rude and condescending. They call me all the time and there doesn't seem to be much I can do about it. It's such an invasion of privacy.
