I recieved this card in my mail and decided to call because I do not have any credit cards and thaught to myself that I could probably open just one card to build my credit. The person I spoke to on the phone took my bank account number and assured me that I have a couple days for them to send me out the original card with their catalog and if I like their products I can call to activate or deactivate membership. I contacted my bank the day before the dealine because I could not get a hold of a representative at the number listed above for CCA. First time I called, it said to call back between business hours... Which of course it was business hours. My bank told me that they cannot put a hold on my account without a 72 hour notice and that I should try to contact CCA again. So my bank was of no help and when I called back CCA, the automated recording prompted me to enter card number and phone number associated with the account and when I did, it said that the card number and phone number entered does not show a valid record. This was after they took monies out of my account just last night. I however, contacted my bank to investigate this matter and they advised me to open a new account. I am going to the bank tomorrow to deal with this matter because I want my money back NOW!!! I googled this company's name and found this site with all the bad reports. I should've googled first but I will get my money back!!! Whether my bank co-operates or not. These people need to be stopped.
