I was sent a postcard to my attention, of which has information in being a trusted tax relief. I dont know how they got my name and number in the first place, but I do have tax problems. First, I went to their website, noticed that they had a 866 number and called, wanting some answers to questions that I had about them, their services, and what they could do for me.
Well, after 2 minutes, the person I was refered to hung up the phone on me. When I called back, I was again hung up on after I inquired about the fees they would charge for their services. This was most unprofessional. I called back a third time and was put on hold, for a very long period of time. They advertise freindly service and aggresive representation. This is hardly the case. When I mentioned that I was unemployed, they proceeded to explain to me that I could get the information online and thats the reason I was hung up on.
There was no questions about my status, or if I could pay the fee. This company is playing on peoples problems and I realize this is public information, but, when one is looking for help and relief from these burdens, from a supposed company that is supposed to help, and you get more rudeness from them than the IRS, this should be reported to someone. The person I talked to did not even know what an OIC was.
