I had an account with peco energy - i closed the account - peco made a huge mistake and said that i owed 529.00- making repeated phone calls, peco assumed the responsibility for the error and closed the account. Several months later, peco contacted alliance one and placed my account for collections-
When i called alliance one, i was treated poorly, with disrespect, and was told that i was to pay the amount - when i called peco, i had them fax to me proof that the account was closed - they did - in turn i faxed it over to alliance one collections and it still remained on my credit report-
When i called alliance one today, 5/25, i was told that it was reported to the credit agencies that the account was closed - when i called trans union, they said alliance one never closed it - i then called alliance one back and a supvisor, gina, said that she would have to call peco to verify and did confirm that it was not closed-
Now how can these employees make such a big mistake in telling me alliance one rectified the situation? All ass backwards if you ask me and what a lousy company with lousy employees! Employees were amy, stacey, tim, and christy! All wouldn't know their asses from their elbows!
