Home loan experts represents itself as a division of world savings and then touts and trumpets world savings' financial condition, customer service satisfaction, ethics report. But home loan experts only sells one world product and it is a tiny part of their sales. They broker wells fargo, countrywide, wamu, and chase and others. This is a bait and switch. The ftc and the state scc has received complaints. Consumers are sold on world, but that bait is switched to funding mortgages with others. This is deceptive, this is dishonest. And about the product they push, an adjustable, they assert its benefits, yet know that the benefits are not used and the product actually puts the customer at greater risk of the ills it intends to protect. The ftc and the sccs will have a ball with this one. Even ethics magazine has received complaints. Watch this one for fraud and deceptive practices of the year award.
If a broker is honest about his products, fine. But when a broker pretends to be one thing and is another, this is not right.
