Being the fact that the recruiters can be extremely pushy, I feel as if I and my wife were taken advantage of by a couple of mendacious representatives.in my opinion, Primerica and it's representatives, have a mission that is driven on the sole purpose of taking money however possible. I work and my wife doesn't yet, so our financial situation may become somewhat arduous at times. Convinced by my wife's desire to receive Life Insurance Coverage for her, because she doesn't work, I bought into this high price seduction. I knew for a fact that I was receiving better coverage at work, for far less the premium, then what Primerica proposed. Yet, it was only to protect my wife if something were to happen to me. Again, I bought into this deal. I felt I had this obligation to be a part of what Primerica was "selling", because I had a friend who happened to be in training with one of the "District Managers". My wife and I went through all the qualifications for the Life Insurance, and even took the physical. After about a month had past from the time we took our physicals, we were told that everything had to be put on hold. Perplexed by this time, we were told that my wife's Motor Vehicle records could not be obtained. Although in tremendous doubt, we allowed time for them to acquire my wife's Motor Vehicle records. To our chagrin, they searched to no avail.
Then we were asked if we could make the attempt of the records. At this point we had feelings of exasperation and voiced our request to discontinue our pending Life Insurance policy. That petition appeared to be honored, then we received a call a few weeks later. The Primerica agent told us that they would be able to obtain the Motor Vehicle records of my wife with no issues. This seemed suspicious to my wife and I, giving that fact that it took about 3 to 4 months from the initial contact regarding our driving records. Weary at this point and still with the belief that I am contributing to my friend's "growth" in the company, I agreed to allow the Life Insurance policy to be reinstated. Not until after the first month's premium was extracted from our account, did I realize that we made a bad decision. My wife made the attempt to cancel our policy, but, we were told that this request had to be in writing.in doing so, it would prolong their accessibility to our account. All we ask is that our inquires are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. Primerica claims to be so "reputable", yet, it does not provide an efficient connect with it's customers and their agents. So Primerica who/what do you value?
