At 8pm, Tuesday, February 7th I received a phone call showing 00 on my cell phone. I answered it, and the guy on the phone had an Indian or Arab accent. His name was Jason Hunt. He explained to me that I would be receiving 12 thousand dollars for being a tax payer and for not filing bankruptcy. I answered all of the?'s. I was transferred to a Chris Harris who had the same accent. Then I realized that I was being scammed. They wanted to know my bank account information. Ya right. I hung up and they proceeded to call me back 5 times after that, and then left me a message. All numbers were not ligit. I called them back and the call didn't go through. They showed up as 116 two times and 115 twice and the 00 once. I saved the message and I am going to call the police and have my cell phone company trace the call. "Jason Hunt" gave me a so called customer service number that is only open m-f 9am-5pm eastern time. So I obviously couldn't call to check if this was the real deal. Please pay attention to the name that they give you and their accent. If it is a complete american name and they have an Indian or Arab accent, you are being scammed. Hang up fast. I am going to record the phone call tomorrow when they call me back, if they do. I hope we nail them.
