Ripoff scam work at home-based Internet business opportunity make money home dishonest unethical cheat lies lose thousands dollars

I am legally blind, and live in a small city, and find it hard to convince an employer to hire me. I do not have enough income to live comfortably. So, I responded to a couple of home-based business opportunities on the Internet that are advertised on radio nationwide.

In this process, MoneyWayz, also known officially as TurnKeyWayz, obtained my phone number from lists they buy, and called me to solicit their program. They have many well-trained staff members that have all the right things to say, and they know exactly how to say them to overwhelm you, and persuade you to buy into their program.

They promised me that if I'll just invest a small $515, they will set me up with six web sites and send me a start up package that will have all I need to get up and running. They promised that if I just follow the simple step-by-step instructions in the start up kit and from their coaches, that I will easily make this initial $515 back plus more, in just as little as 60 days. But they guaranteed a refund of the remainder of the $515 if I still had not made it back within twelve months.

They convinced me to try it, and so I let them charge my credit card the $515 to get started. I asked if I could receive something in writing before I paid the money, but there was no way to get them to do that. The $515 was required immediately in order to proceed. The $515 was actually a reduced amount from the original amount of $1,800.

When I received the start up kit, I found a paper that was required to be signed and returned to them before I could qualify to receive any payments from them. This paper was authorizing them to charge my credit card and acknowledging receipt in full of all promised services. I signed it, and returned it to them because there was no choice in order to start the program and try to recover my investment. This is actually their way to cover themselves in case you try to claim chargeback against them to your credit card company.

I tried everything suggested in the start up kit and over the phone with them. None of the advertising in papers, flyers, business cards, mailers, and other such promotional procedures turned out any results. I went even further than they suggested for the beginning stages, and it still generated nothing. I called them, as they said to do, for some advertising coaching to get things moving along. They advised me that the beginning steps I had taken were nice for starters, but if I really want to get this business running well, I would need to invest in more vigorous advertising campaigns on TV and networks, and to send out premium brochures. This better and more vigorous form of advertising would cost only $2,700, and would be just peanuts compared to what it will generate. I told the coach I couldn't afford that kind of money and nor did I even have it physically available to me. The coach then suggested I consider a lesser costly advertising program, but still a decent performing one, at a cost of only $1,100. I told the coach I didn't even have near that much after already spending what I had. They advised me that there was no other way to get the business well on its feet unless I invest something substantial into it. They suggested at this point that I just stick to monthly newspaper ads until I could afford to invest more.

After realizing this was going to be a bottomless pit of serious expense and advertising and promotion for their benefit, I requested that they close my account and stop everything right there. I asked for a refund of my $515 initial credit card charge, and the $19.95 monthly web site fee. They, of course, declined that saying those charges were non-refundable. So, I contacted my credit card company with all of these details, and other reports on this company from the consumer complaints Web Site, and claimed chargeback against MoneyWayz's merchant account. My credit card company helped fight for me and looked after my benefit since I was a customer of theirs, and filed the chargeback through MoneyWayz's credit card processing company. This, in plain English, jerked the money out of MoneyWayz's bank account, against their will, and credited it to my credit card balance. I was successful in doing this, even though I had signed that paper, because I called my credit card company, and told them the whole story, asking for their help. I gave them all the information they requested, answered all of their questions, and followed their instructions carefully. Plus I gathered as much material as I could from the Internet, including this site, that supported my claims, and submitted it to my credit card company. All of this is what made getting my money back successful.

I encourage anyone and everyone else that has experienced this same thing to do this exact thing I have done here. Plus, post up a consumer complaints. Do not think that yours won't matter, and that there is already enough posted. Then, it still will not hurt to file with the other agencies too. There is never too much you can do. But, I guarantee, sitting on it will not work. Get up, make a phone call or two, and look on the Internet. Spend just a couple of hours doing this. That's all it will take, and together, we'll get something done.

Best wishes.
